T-2A Hydraulic Cartridge Valve Cavity Reamer | 16-gauge three-way valve. A high-precision cutting cavity tool designed for machining bores in hydraulic cartridge valve blocks, primarily used to improve the dimensional accuracy, geometric accuracy, and surface finish of multi-diameter holes. It is applied to the precision machining of cartridge holes in Sun Hydraulics hydraulic valve blocks, including reaming of guide holes, oil passage holes, and valve seat holes. It ensures high hole accuracy, meeting the stringent sealing and functional requirements of hydraulic systems. Suitable for various applications: A single tool body can efficiently complete reaming of multiple hole sizes with varying diameters. Because the cutting part is a welded cermet blade, wear is minimized, extending service life. Cavity tool types: High-speed steel type A / Morse taper shank type B / Carbide type C / Replaceable insert type D / Welding blade type E / Welding cermet type R / Welding PCDF type.

Design details engineered for accuracy, tool life and process stability.
Due to its repositionable inserts, interrupted cutting is less prone to chipping, and the tool body is more stable and less prone to vibration. Particularly suitable for casting skins, porous materials, and non-uniform materials.
One insert with multiple cutting edges; insert wear → direct repositioning. The tool body is designed for long-term use, reducing the tooling cost per valve body by 30-50%.
Multiple design options are available, including extended tool bodies, internal cooling, and vibration damping structures. Dimensions are restored to new tool condition after insert replacement.
The T-2A D8100 indexable cavity tool features a repeatable and indexable design, offering high material removal efficiency and strong impact resistance. The inserts can be repositioned multiple times, making it particularly suitable for castings and large-mass machining, significantly reducing per-piece machining costs.
The T-2A D8100 conforms to Sun Hydraulics cartridge valve technology standards, such as control valves, distributor valves, relief valves, and directional valves. Suitable for valve bodies made of heat-treated alloy steel with a temperature of HRC 35 or higher.
Compared to solid carbide cavity tools, it offers higher wear resistance and faster spindle speeds. It features negative rake angle or reinforced cutting edges, and a high-rigidity integral tool body structure. Insert wear → direct repositioning.
