Quality Control

Every tool passes through six mandatory quality gates before shipment. Our process is designed to catch defects at the earliest possible stage, minimizing waste and ensuring only conforming tools reach our customers.

Incoming Material QC

All carbide blanks tested for hardness (HRA 90–92), transverse rupture strength, and grain size. Certificate of conformance required from all suppliers. Batch rejection rate maintained below 0.5%.

In-Process Inspection

Automated measurement after each grinding pass using Renishaw probing. Statistical process control (SPC) charts monitored in real-time. Out-of-spec parts flagged and quarantined immediately.

Coating Verification

Coating thickness measured by X-ray fluorescence (XRF) after every PVD cycle. Adhesion verified by Rockwell indentation test per ISO 26443. 100% visual inspection for color uniformity and surface defects.

Final CMM Inspection

100% dimensional inspection on Zeiss CMM for all critical dimensions: diameter, runout (≤0.003mm), helix angle, edge preparation radius. Full inspection report issued per batch with Cpk values.

Cutting Performance Test

Representative samples (5% per batch) undergo cutting trials on in-house CNC machining centers. Tool life (number of holes/passes), surface finish (Ra), and dimensional accuracy of machined parts verified against specification.

Traceability & Packaging

Each tool labeled with batch number, material grade, coating type, and inspection date. Full traceability from raw material lot to shipment. Individual anti-corrosion packaging with shock-absorbing foam for export.
