Jiayi Tools at Metalloobrabotka, Moscow: 2024 and 2025

Jiayi Tools is a Shenzhen-based manufacturer of precision cutting tools, and Russia has long been one of our most important markets. That is why Metalloobrabotka in Moscow matters to us: it is where we meet the manufacturers who actually use our tools, in person, rather than only by email.

We exhibited at the show in two consecutive years. In 2024, our booth was 53C46. In 2025, our booth was 7B143. Returning for a second year was a deliberate choice. A custom tool is not an off-the-shelf purchase, and buyers need to know that the supplier they meet this year will still be there next year, with the same team, the same factory, and the same understanding of their application.

What we showed

At both booths, we showed tools made to a customer’s own drawing, rather than a fixed catalogue range. That includes carbide cutting tools, PCD tools, form tools for cartridge valve cavities, port tools, and blades. The display also highlighted tools for energy-industry applications, a sector where precision, repeatability, and tool life matter in every batch.

For visitors, the starting point was usually the same: a drawing, a workpiece material, and a machining problem. From there, the conversation was about geometry, tool material, and how a custom tool is built around that specific application, not about choosing the nearest standard size.

Why we exhibit

Exhibiting gives both sides something email cannot. Visitors can handle the tools, see the cutting edges and finishes up close, and explain a cavity, a port, or a tolerance in person. We can ask the questions that decide whether a tool will work: what the part is, how it is machined, and what has caused problems before. Those conversations are the reason we keep coming back to Moscow.

Thank you, and what comes next

We would like to thank everyone who visited us in 2024 and 2025, including customers we met for the first time and those who returned to our booth. If we discussed an application at the show, or if you missed us in Moscow, please contact us for specifications and a quotation. Send us your drawing, and we will review it as a custom tool project.
