Cutter Aluminium Alloy
The CEAL50 series high-precision corner-grooving end mills are short-flute professional-grade end mills specifically designed for high-speed, high-precision machining of aluminum alloys. They feature a 3-flute, 38° helix angle, and a wavy chip breaker design, combined with a high-toughness carbide substrate and a multi-colored DLC coating. They offer superior chip breaking capability, high chip removal efficiency, and excellent anti-sticking performance, making them ideal for rapid removal of large allowances, deep grooving, and heavy-duty cutting in aluminum alloys. Primarily developed for the aerospace market, they are also suitable for general engineering industries. This combination of accelerated machining and the ability to handle advanced ramp angles makes the CEAL50 a beast in aluminum machining, ideal for high-speed, high-finish machining of aluminum alloys, copper alloys, and other non-ferrous metals.

Design details engineered for accuracy, tool life and process stability.
Transforms continuous cutting into intermittent cutting, effectively dispersing cutting forces, achieving controllable chip breaking, and preventing long chips from entangled in the tool. Especially suitable for roughing of materials prone to tool sticking, such as aluminum alloys.
Surface hardness HV2800, low coefficient of friction as low as 0.2, effectively suppressing built-up edge formation and exhibiting excellent anti-sticking performance, particularly suitable for aluminum alloy machining.
Enables progressive cutting, reduces tool impact, and optimizes chip groove space, improving chip removal efficiency by 35%, suitable for high-speed cutting with large allowances.
The coating withstands temperatures up to 800°C, maintaining excellent wear resistance even under high-speed dry cutting, extending tool life by 2-2.5 times compared to uncoated tools.
The edge radius is controlled within 0.02mm, balancing edge sharpness and chip resistance, meeting the high-speed cutting requirements of non-ferrous metals.
The uncoated design avoids the risk of coating peeling while providing excellent corrosion resistance, making it suitable for machining in humid environments.
The substrate has a hardness of up to HRC63, combining high hardness and toughness, and its resistance to chipping is twice that of ordinary end mills.
